11th African Small Mammal Symposium

The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Swaziland, Swaziland is proud to host the 11th African Small Mammal Symposium (ASMS). ASMS will be held at the Kwaluseni Campus of the University of Swaziland from Sunday evening 3rd July to Friday afternoon 8th July 2011.

The theme of the conference is:  Africa’s Small Mammal Biologists Tackling Africa’s Big Problems.

The ASMS conferences are held once every four years, providing the opportunity for scientists, students and interested laypersons studying African small mammals to meet and exchange ideas. The previous ASMS conference was successfully held in Benin in 2006.

Regular updates will be posted on the conference website at www.asms.uniswa.sz . A second circular, will be distributed in August/September 2010 and will include a first call for symposia and papers.
